DD – Business Card Widget

About it

The BusinessCard plugin provides a additional widget for the display of your contact and business information. Check the screenshots.
The html output is semantic and provides microdata annotations for search engines like Google. The following features are included until now:

• A widget for your buisness information.
• Provides the possibility to output contact information, opening hours and additional informations.
• Fully semantical annotated. Use of Microdata.
• Stylable via CSS. Developed to embed into your theme.
• Localized: Send me your translation and I will add it to the plugin

Options and Possibilities

Available fields for the “Contact and Address Information” section:

• Section Heading
• Business Title / Name
• A (optional) prefix for each contact information line
• Address Region, Street, Postal Code, EMail Address, Website Address

Available fields for the “Opening Hours” section:

• Section Heading
• Specific Opening Hours: From Day1 to Day2 | Time 1 to Time2
• You can also define a individual entry for each line that will be displayed instead of the generated text
• Define if there should be a line break between the declaration of days and time. Specifically for each entry.

Available fields for the “Additional Informations” section:

• Coming Soon: Section Heading
• A text field that will be displayed as a paragraph below the opening hours

Available options for the widget:

• “Summarize Opening Hours” Sum up identical Day1, Day2 opening hours and display the time as a combination. (Screenshot-3)
• “Shorten Day Names” Either display the daynames as full word or abbreviation
