The plugin requires you to have an account with Shrink The Web if you wish to generate the thumbnails dynamically. Please read the first FAQ about account types to learn more.
However, you do not need an account with ShrinkTheWeb to use this plugin if you capture screenshots of your websites yourself. You can capture your own screenshots as images, upload those images to your website, and then link to them in the Custom Thumbnail URL
field.
This plugin also requires PHP5 or above.

Late in 2014, the maintenance of the plugin was taken over by ShrinkTheWeb so that Mr. Harrison could focus on other interests.
